The Austria Center Vienna (ACV) is one of the most visited congress centres in Austria. During renovation, the focus was on digitalisation and the creation of innovative use concepts. The challenge was to create something unique and a new USP for the location.

The polySTAGE

52 Movable LED Panels as the Centrepiece

An absolute world first: 52 movable, high-resolution LED displays that are freely distributed in space and can be individually programmed. This enables effortless adaptation of the room to the diverse requirements of different events. A concept that has never existed before.

World First in Stage Design

The polySTAGE offers flexible possibilities for events of any type and size. It effortlessly transforms into an impressive stage for live performances or creates closed settings for product presentations thanks to movable panels. The free mobility of the panels also enables immersive experiences.

At the push of a button, it offers ideal conditions for exhibitions, presentations, gala events, and receptions. The polySTAGE is equally suited for conferences, conventions, and industry trade fairs. The entrance area can serve as a registration area while infographics guide visitors.

The Design Process

The conception and design of the polySTAGE use cases required careful planning and creativity. We analysed how LED panel positioning could bring the greatest benefit for different event types, and conducted interviews with organisers, guests, and event agencies.
