In 2020, the A1 IoT Day took place online for the first time, and attendees moved exclusively digitally through the event. In close collaboration with Stargate Group GmbH, Media Apparat developed a virtual event concept. A specially programmed web platform combining visual content and interactive features.

The highlight of the first virtual A1 IoT Day was the IoT Show with Federal Minister Margarete Schramböck, A1 Group CEO Thomas Arnoldner, and Mercedes Motorsport Chief Toto Wolff, broadcast from the Virtual Production Studio Vienna. On a 270° LED wall, connected guests were seamlessly integrated.
